CLASSES & SUPPORT GROUPS
Colonial Woods Christian Counseling Center is in the business of changing and shaping lives. The work we do at our Counseling Center is aimed at providing a holistic approach to solving some of our society’s biggest challenges. We are proud to offer various support groups and classes to help carry each other through the tough seasons of life.
GRIEFSHARE
GriefShare is a support group held at Colonial Woods Christian Counseling Center for those who are grieving a loss due to death. Session will meet on Mondays from 7:00 – 8:30 pm for 14 weeks. Typically meeting in September and February, and can be joined at any time.

WIDOWED CARE
Widowed Care is a support group for those who have lost a spouse through death. It is a group for processing grief in a supportive environment. It is held at Colonial Woods Missionary Church on Mondays from 7:00 – 8:30 pm and running for 10 sessions

GRIEFSHARE
Group will be held at Colonial Woods Missionary Church

at the First Hallway - Turn Right
Class will be held in the Carpenter Room

GriefShare is a support group for those who are grieving a loss due to death. The program deals with the first stages of Grief and helps with the Grieving Journey
​
The Group meets in September and February on Mondays evenings from 7:00 – 8:30 pm for 14 weeks, and can be joined at any time.

GriefShare is facilitated by Laura Godwin, LPC.
Laura's primary career is a local funeral director, and she obtained her counseling degree in order to better serve grieving families of the blue water area. Her passion is working with those dealing with grief and loss due to death and she has led our GriefShare groups for the past 10 years.
